I've been a lurker for the past couple years, and finally decided to join the cool kids club. Special thanks to the fine gentlemen in the facebook group for pulling me out of the gray, and to the mods for granting authorship.

I live in Columbus OH and drive a 2015 WRX. Here's a picture with its its turbo flat-engined cousin.

Welcome! My non-turbo flat 4 makes a heap less power but I love it all that same :) (1996 Legacy Wagon)

Thank you! I have a buddy with a legacy wagon of that vintage and it's a tank. I lusted after the 2005-2009 LGT, but could never afford them at the time, and finding a clean one now is tough.

It's my first, but so far I'm smitten. After what feels like an eternity of ~100HP FWD econoboxes, this thing feels like a rocket ship. A rocket ship that makes me do terrible things.

I have a 140 HP econobox with a 5 speed. It feels like a rocket ship compared to my 92 hp 3 speed econobox that came before!!

By clean I mean not beat to death. But hey, if your car works for you then that's all that matters. And also maybe clean it once in a while ;)

WRB is so iconic, I had to get it. A buddy at work is a big Porsche fan and he's always talking about buying a 911 "In red, of course". That's how I feel about the WRX - "In World Rally Blue, of course"
